Which parts is a car formed? When you look at a car, the first thing you see is the bodywork. The bodywork indicates the overall design of the car and is now self-sufficient. Self-supporting means that the body sheet can absorb and compensate for the forces created during driving. In the old days cars were built on a frame, which was the framework on which the body was based. The self-supporting bodies are inseparable, as they are joined together by various jointing processes and significantly reducing the weight of the vehicle.

Interior

Inside the car are, next to the well-known parts such as seats, a steering wheel, a lining and several pedals, many electrical components that are created for the comfort of the driver, without even being noticed. We can find in the luxury cars for example, an on-board computer, light and rain sensors on the windshield, a HUD (Head-Up Display) and an electric seat adjustment. All vehicle elements are controlled and managed by control devices.

Electronics

Electronics, in today’s vehicles, play a very significant role. Almost every function is directed by a control device. The electronic elements are powered by electricity from the battery. The battery, in turn, is powered by an electricity generator. The wiring of all these devices powered by electricity is called power supply wiring.

The air traffic of goods continues to grow

ACI Europe , an association that promotes the interests of European airports and stimulates excellence in the management of the same, has reported a “continuous and solid trend” of traffic growth of goods transported to European airports during last April , 3.9% more than the same month in 2017.

In April the number of flights dedicated exclusively to the transport of goods also increased: + 3.5%.

European airports say that the treated goods flow has increased by 3.4%. In non-European airports there is an increase of even 6.7%.

The most popular European hubs in April were those in Frankfurt (1.5% year-on-year increase with 179 thousand tonnes), Paris Charles de Gaulle (down 1.5% and 160 thousand tonnes) , London Heathrow (increase of 2.3% and 137 thousand tons) and Amsterdam Schipol (which recorded a negative decrease of 6.3% with a total of 137 thousand tons).

The Ataturk gateway in Istanbul is ranked fifth, with a substantial increase in goods handled: + 15% reaching 110 thousand tons in April 2018)

For the current year (data from January to April), air freight traffic passing through European airports increased by 4.3% compared to the four months of the previous year.

Dnata , one of the largest air service providers, has exercised the option of acquiring a further 40% of the shares of Airport Handling SPA .

The purchase will bring 70% of the dnata shareholding in the handling company based in Milan. With a majority on the board, dnata already manages the daily operations from 2016, the year of the initial investment.

Airport Handling , founded in 2014, provides numerous passenger services, ramp services and baggage assistance services to over 60 airlines in the two airports of Milan, Malpensa (MXP) and Linate (LIN). The further investment of dnata in Airport Handling, underlines its great commitment in the Italian market, where it also manages, in 22 airports, numerous catering facilities.

Stewart Angus, Divisional Senior Vice President for International Airport Operations & Associated Companies, said: ” After more than two years of successful collaboration and excellent services for our customers, we are pleased to announce an additional investment in Airport Handling. We are sure that dnata and our stakeholders will benefit many from this strategic acquisition , which highlights our broader vision and our commitment to the Italian market . We will work hard to continue to offer a quality service, without equal, to all our customers, looking for new opportunities in the country “.

Although the participation of dnata will increase to 70%, the current management group will continue to manage, as before, the business and operations.

In the last seven years, dnata has significantly expanded international airport operations with a series of partnerships and acquisitions. dnata provides over 300 airlines with reliable, quality ground handling services, cargo and catering services at 130 airports across 6 continents.

How to do business with Chatbots?

This is explained by Paolo Montrasio and Valentino Spataro, expert developers of b2b applications and  coordinators of the App Square, Chatbot and Artificial Intelligence of Technology Hub (Milan, 17 – 19 May 2018)

    What are chatbots?

“Simplifying a lot, u n chatbot is software that receives requests and generates answers . In practice, a very sophisticated automatic responder. With some chatbots you already dialogue with the voice, with others you are still forced to use the keyboard, but it will not always be the case. There are chatbots that “live” inside phones, like Siri and Google Now, or even those that respond in Messenger and Telegram chats. There are those waiting for us on home furniture, like Amazon Echo or Google Home. Some chatbots are used to support customer service operators on websites. Others assist company employees in training with instructions, quizzes, videos and texts or help them find the information they need. All in general require updated and well organized information. From a business point of view, it’s a revolution: using the voice instead of the most inconvenient keyboard speeds up interactions. Facilitate and increase requests and find out what interests customers is something priceless. “

Tell us about some interesting case history in the B2B world?

“We quote a recent case of business training. A company had to quickly form thousands of employees as a result of a merger . It was necessary to know how to respond to new customers arriving with questions about each field. The important aspect was to monitor all requests to expand the training of the chatbot several times a day, all in Italian. Another case concerns a company that has brought production into contact with management . Before the chatbot the staff had to physically move from the factory to the offices to find out what was going on and when. Chatbot is done using the phone, with a simpler and less expensive user interface than a website or app. In that case it was interesting not only the connection of data to the chatbot, but also the security mechanisms used to authorize only certain people and only when they are physically inside the company. “

What will be the contents and activities of the App Square, Chatbot and Artificial Intelligence coordinated by you?

“We start from the solutions to develop chatbots to the skills to structure their contents . There will also be an introductory space for technology, with natural language recognition tools and AI in Italian and English. S Aranno presented experiences of public bodies and companies that are refurbished to lighten or increase the efficiency of its internal processes or relationships with the public. “
