Q&A

About Us

Can we purchase just one seat on a charter flight?

Unfortunately this is not possible. Most people charter an aircraft to enjoy their privacy and space or to conduct their company business en-route to their destination.

Is aircraft charter safe?

Yes it is. Flight crew and aircraft operators must comply with the New Zealand Civil Aviation Safety Authority stringent safety and audit requirements. All flight crew hold appropriate licenses to enable flight in all weather conditions.

Can we charter a plane one way?

Yes. You can have us drop you at your destination or pick you up. However, the cost will be charged as a round trip as the aircraft has to return to its home base.

Where do we check-in?

We will inform you of the check-in location when booking you charter. In most cases our charter flights depart from private terminals.

How much baggage can we carry?

This depends on the size of the aircraft that you charter, but the common rule for small corporate jets, jet prop and piston twins would be 10 kg of soft luggage per person. For larger aircraft the normal 20 kg per person limitation applies. Taking excess luggage will depend on your individual charter.

How long can the aircraft remain at our destination?

Subject to the day of charter, usually you will be charged a daily standing fee to keep the aircraft with the party. However, in some instances it is more cost effective to drop your party and collect them at a later date.

Can we use aircraft charter for our corporate road show?

Yes. Many corporations utilise aircraft charter as a means for travelling to multiple destinations for their corporate road show and still have the ability to be home for dinner the same evening.

If you don’t have a suitable aircraft in your fleet can you find us another aircraft?

Yes. We specialise in brokering aircraft to meet our clients’ specific requirements.
